Welcome to the Mid Ulster Sports Arena
The Mid Ulster Sports Arena (MUSA) is a state of the art outdoor sports facility owned by Cookstown District Council designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of different sports. Opened in May 2004 at a cost of £2.5 million, it is the centre of excellence for sports provision throughout the wider Mid Ulster Area.
Located just one mile from Cookstown on the Tullywigan Road, MUSA has the most advanced synthetic turf surface in Northern Ireland, and is both FIFA and UEFA approved.
In addition there are 5 sand mattress grass pitches, an endurance area incorporating a multi use games area suitable for a wide range of sports, a strength and conditioning room and a sports pavilion with eight team changing rooms, a 1400m trim trail, administration offices, committee room and catering facilities.
As the only venue of its kind in the region, the Mid Ulster Sports Arena is a key contributor towards sports development and sporting excellence and sets the standard for sporting facilities within Northern Ireland.

New Block Booking Dates
The new Block Booking period for use of facilities at MUSA, including Synthetic Pitch and Five Aside will be from Mon 12 March to Sun 27 May.
Trim Trail Upgrade
The Trim Trail at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena will close on the 16 April for five weeks to allow for resurfacing work to be carried out.
