    Active Places NI is a new, interactive, GIS-based website of sports and recreational facilities in Northern Ireland. The Active Places NI website has been developed by Sport Northern Ireland and provides information on where people can take part in sport and physical activity in their local area or in their chosen sport/activity.



    Active Places NI includes information on more than 5,500 individual sports and recreational facilities throughout Northern Ireland and incorporates district council leisure facilities, as well as club and commercial sites. The website will allow users to view detailed information on individual sports facilities, such as location, contact details, opening times and number/type of facilities available."
